Bio:
CAROL HIND was born in the United Kingdom of West Indian parents. She is the eldest of 7 children, attended university as a mature student and graduated with a 2.1 Honours degree in English (Literature). She spent several rewarding years as part of a team of editors for a Christian women’s publication with a print-run of 23,000. She admits to being a “recovering perfectionist”!
Regarding her writing profile and aspirations, Carol says:
“From an early age, my love of words and insatiable appetite for stories kindled an on-going passion for writing. I’d describe myself as a fervent God-seeker, whose burning desire is to produce a plethora of works that educates, positively influences, and inspires Christian women, yet also brings pleasure and richness to readers, such that my offerings are like apples of gold in settings of silver!
My husband often refers to me as a word-junkie! As you’ve probably guessed, I love reading and I love words. I’m fascinated by and admire the way skilled writers use them and I secretly nurse a long-cherished desire to join the ranks of published authors, whose words are feasted upon, feted, and followed, by raving fans and word connoisseurs. Meanwhile, I am happy to allow the ultimate creator and wordsmith to use my writing gift for his glory, and infuse my words with his anointing, love, and compassion.
I write to encourage and inspire both myself and others—to reign in our circumstances as victorious over-comers, maximise our potential, and live our best lives.
Having self-published two non-fiction books and achieved modest publication success (poetry and articles), my current writing goals are to be proactive in submitting work to potential markets, and so fulfil a long-held dream of earning income from what I love (and believe I am gifted), to do.”
